Equip, Empower, and Unite: A two-day summit dedicated to transforming the reentry narrative.
In honor of Second Chance Month, Tackle the Shackles and City Takers are proud to host the 3rd Annual Change Makers Summit. This powerful two-day event is designed to close the gap between returning citizens and the communities welcoming them home.

Our vision is to unite a diverse coalition of reentry providers, local officials, church congregations, and community leaders. By shining a light on prison reform and sharing vital resources, we aim to build a dynamic network of advocates dedicated to creating lasting, sustainable impact across Metro Atlanta and beyond.
Through expert-led workshops, collaborative panel discussions, and faith-centered testimonials, you will leave equipped with the knowledge, connections, and spiritual support necessary to champion genuine second chances.
What to Expect:

Day 1: Education, Networking, & Reform (Sat, April 25th): Gain actionable insights on the realities of reentry, launching a reentry home, mental health and addiction recovery, and faith-based entrepreneurship. The day culminates in a powerful cross-sector impact panel and Q&A.

Day 2: Second Chance Sunday (Sun, April 26th): Ground the summit’s mission in faith. Join us for transformative worship, an inspiring message, and real-life testimonials of second chances from returning citizens.
